Hi I was given a large bag of apples today by a friend I visited. On the way home I dropped by a neighbour and passed some of the apples on to them. They have just recently moved to our area, and we had a lovely chat shared some recipes for the apples.
So by the action of my friend giving me the apples, she paid it forward, I paid it forward, and gained a new friend too!

What is wrong with people on the road these days? Lately I have noticed more & more how incredibly selfish and impatient drivers are getting. Swearing, swerving, cursing, driving within inches! It is terribly sad and awefully UNKIND. Slow down and enjoy precious time and life. Is saving a few minutes worth ruining someones future or tempting fate?
Betty, may I respectfully suggest you look for the drivers who do let you in, slow down in school zones, stop at pedestrian crossings etc. Then, you’ll stop noticing the others, cheers, Jack

I want to pass on this good deed, I have always believed in the pay it forward and try hard to do what I can to help and be kind to others…. We find surviving on a pension tough it covers our daily needs but doesn’t leave room for emergency. One of which we sufferred recently. Our car broke down, now for city people a problem but not as big a problem as it is for us. We live 10 kilometres from the nearest town, hubby suffers severe emphysemia and heart problems. So a car is a neccessity not and option… As I can assure you, I severly burnt myslef while the car was out of action and had to call on the help of a neighbour to get me to the Drs. But I am sidetracking…We had no idea where the money was coming from, we recieved a quote for $550. A few days later we recieved an envelope posted locally with a note that said. “A gift for two lovely people” and inside was 5x 100 dollar notes almost enough to cover the car… We have no idea who sent it, we have asked the most likely but they deny it so although there no likelyhood of them reading it here at least I can share a good deed. Christina
